  • 1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter T&C) relate exclusively to the operation of this car rental platform www.topcarrentals.ro (hereinafter the Site) owned by 360 YACHT SUPPLY S.R.L., headquartered in Valea Draganului, no. 226, Cluj County, having CUI: 34814275, and being registered at the Trade Register under no. J12 / 3182 / 09.08.2019, (hereinafter the Company) and are dedicated to come to your aid and with relevant information about the rental services offered by our Partners.
  • 1.2 Your rental of any vehicle on this Site is in full compliance with the Rental Terms and Conditions of the partner rental companies from which you rent the vehicle, as well as the laws of Romania. / li>
  • 1.3 By browsing this site and / or by booking a car on the site www.topcarrentals.ro you declare that you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions, which also includes the Privacy and Cookies Policy.
  • 1.4 The General Terms and Conditions are valid for an indefinite period. Users agree that the Company has the right to unilaterally amend these T&C without prior notice to them. If T&C changes, those changes take effect immediately upon publication on the Site. The Company recommends that Users monitor any changes to these T&C.

  • 2.1 The website www.topcarrentals.ro functions as a platform that has brought in one place the offers of the most reliable car rental companies in Romania. With over 10 years of experience in the field, we have selected the most competitive offers from car rental companies, small and large, which offer services at the highest quality standards.
  • 2.2 Car rental companies will be fully responsible for the quality and terms and conditions agreed and published on their websites or through the contracts you sign with them. However, our support team is at your disposal to help you manage any unwanted situations that may arise during the rental, but is in no way responsible for them.
  • 2.3 Please read carefully the terms and conditions on the rental company's website and the rental agreement you sign with the car rental company. 360 YACHT SUPPLY is not responsible for any inconvenience caused between you and the rental company throughout the rental process, from booking on the Site, to handing over the car or unlocking the warranty, etc.
  • 2.4 The supplier you have chosen from the offer on our platform assumes full responsibility for the performance of the contract, within the limits of the contract signed with them or the terms and conditions on their website.
  • 2.5 The Topcarrentals platform offers you car hire by automatic steering to the selected provider. The bookings are carried out between you and the rental car company, which fully assumes responsibility for the proper conduct of both the booking process and the actual rental.
  • 2.6 Reservation requests will be processed by the provider within 24 hours. During this time you will receive a confirmation, cancellation or replacement car offer from the car rental company from which you rented.

III. DEPOSIT

  • 3.1 Please refer to the rental company's policy for exact information on the amount of deposit requested for the desired car and the conditions for its return. All information provided in this chapter in the section below is for general information only.
  • 3.2 Car rental companies require a deposit at the time of the lease, usually even in the case of full protection, to cover fuel consumption, loss of car key and / or other charges / losses that may arise during the rental period.
  • 3.3 This deposit may be withheld in whole or in part to the extent that you violate the agreed contractual terms or the applicable law. The amount will be deducted depending on the damage generated or the rental company's policy regarding the refund of the deposit, as part of the compensation to be covered by the client in case of risks not covered by insurance (in this regard please see Chapter IV and contract conditions
  • 3.4 If the car and additional accessories are returned in the same condition as when taken over and in accordance with i) fuel policy, ii) insurance policy, etc. this deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle.
  • 3.5 Regarding fuel policy You should keep in mind that rental companies have different fuel policies - please read the terms and conditions carefully. There are companies from which you receive the car with an empty tank and you have to return it in the same condition - in this case the unused fuel is not refunded. Other companies rent the car with a full tank and the car must then be returned with a full tank.

IV. INSURANCE

  • 4.1 Please refer to the rental company's policy for exact information on what type of insurance your desired car has and exactly what that insurance covers. The lease agreement signed by you with the car rental company is the legal basis for any litigation. All information provided in this chapter in the section below is for informational purposes only.
  • 4.2 The insurance package usually offered in the rental price: CASCO insurance, with or without theft coverage, RCA liability insurance.
  • 4.3 CASCO Insurance
  • 4.3.1 This type of insurance covers damage to the car, usually except for theft or attempted theft. In the case of this type of insurance, there is an amount that represents your liability in case of damage, namely the amount presented as a deposit blocked on the credit card or left as a cash deposit. This liability can be reduced by selecting one of the insurance offers present on the www.topcarrental.ro platform. In this sense, we offer you through the companies in the list three possibilities: without protection, titanium protection and integral protection.
  • 4.3.2 For the unprotected version, your liability is limited to the maximum amount specified as a deposit for each type of car. In this case, the CASCO insurance that the companies offer in the displayed price, covers the damages that exceed this amount under the conditions specified in the contract signed with the supplier. The variants entitled titanium protection and integral protection reduce your liability, respectively the value of the guarantee up to the amounts specified on the Site, by selecting the protection.
  • 4.3.3 Risks covered by CASCO insurance
    • a. Damage caused by collisions, knocks or collisions with moving or immovable bodies outside or inside the vehicle, scratches, falls, slips or overturns;
    • b. Damage caused directly or indirectly by fire, explosion and natural phenomena (lightning, floods, earthquakes, torrential rain, hail, storms, landslides or landslides);
    • c. Explosion damage (including fuel tank explosion)
    • d. Damage caused to additional equipment, permanent construction modifications, spare wheels, tools from the standard equipment as a result of the occurrence of the insured event, if they were mounted on the car and are included in the insured amounts;
    • e. Damage caused by natural phenomena (lightning, storm, hurricane, hail or flood, earthquake, landslide or landslide, heavy snowfall, avalanches, including damage caused indirectly by them; example: falling on the car of trees hit by lightning, its damage by objects engulfed by storm, hurricane, or by flood waters, etc.)
    • f. Damage caused by falling bodies on the vehicle (ice blocks, boulders)
    • g. Damage caused by the impact of the vehicle with animals
    • h. Damage caused by the vehicle falling into the abyss, into the water, falls from the bridge.
    • i. Damage caused by collisions, collisions or collisions with other vehicles or with bodies outside the insured vehicle, falls (falling into the abyss, falling into the water during the transhipment, falling due to a broken bridge, falling on the vehicle of some bodies), skidding or skidding , fire, explosion, lightning, earthquake, floods and landslides.

  • 4.3.4 Excluded Risks
    • a. It does not compensate the policy for spare parts, covers, tarpaulins, fuel or any other property in the vehicle, nor for damages resulting from the use of vehicles in competitions, competitions or training for them, nor for damage caused by flooding. , by crossing watercourses or on roads prohibited to public traffic;

Damage caused by manufacturing defects in the material or workmanship of the components or parts, damage caused by the influence of temperature on the vehicle engine (for example, damage to the engine block, cylinder head or cooling system, caused by freezing) is also excluded. water) and those caused by the engine, gearbox or differential due to lack or insufficient lubrication or overheating due to any other causes than those included in the insurance, damages caused by the explosion of the tank during repair due to welding.
  • 4.4. CASCO insurance against theft
  • 4.4.2 Provides protection against car theft if the event is mentioned in an official document issued by the police.
  • 4.4.3 Risks covered: i) theft of the vehicle or its components, parts, additional equipment, ii) damage to the vehicle and / or additional equipment as a result of attempted theft.
  • 4.4.4. Excluded risks: i) no compensation is granted if a document stating the theft is not presented by the police, ii) no compensation is granted if the customer does not present the original car keys and documents to the company. >
  • 4.5 Liability Insurance (MTPL)
  • 4.5.1 The purpose of the insurance is to cover damages caused to third parties as a result of the occurrence of the event insured by motor vehicle accidents.
  • 4.5.2 Risks covered Material damage, personal injury or death to third parties due to the fault of the insured.
  • 4.6 Steps to follow in case of accident
  • 4.6.1 In the event of an accident, it is mandatory to immediately contact the company from which you rented the vehicle and report the accident to the Police, who will issue you the Minutes of Finding and the Authorization for Repairs. These documents are essential to be covered by the insurance policy and to repair the vehicle.
  • 4.6.2 In the event of an accident, the customer must immediately notify the rental company of its occurrence. Failure to report the accident immediately will result in full payment of damages by the customer.
  • 4.6.3 The declaration to the Police is obligatory in all cases: if you are guilty, if you are a victim, if you are the only one involved, if the responsible party is not identified (eg parking damage in your absence .). Without these documents the customer is responsible for all repair costs.
  • 4.6.4 If the customer is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, over-the-counter medications, he is fully responsible for any damage in the event of an accident.
  • 5. Conditions applicable to the driver
  • 5.1 Please refer to the rental company's policy for exact information on the minimum rental age or minimum experience required.
  • 5.2 As a rule, the minimum rental age is 21 years. Additional charges may apply to certain providers for drivers under the age of 21 or over the age of 65.
  • 5.3 Some companies require a driver's license for a minimum of one to three years. The driving license must correspond to the category of the car to be driven.
  • 5.4 The additional driver can be anyone other than the main driver, who will drive the car rented by him and who is approved by the rental company. He must complete and sign a form from the rental office. Rental companies may charge fees for additional drivers.
  • 5.5 Even if you rent a car but never drive it, you are considered the main driver of the rented vehicle.
  • 5.6 Car rental companies reserve the right to select their customers.
  • 6. Predarea in alta locatie
  • 6.1 If the car is returned by the customer to another location, other than the delivery, he will have to pay an additional fee depending on the company from which you rented .
  • 7. Calculating the daily rate
  • 7.1 The duration of the rental period begins and ends in accordance with the details entered on the voucher provided by the rental company, and the price will be calculated within 24 hours and will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • 7.2 If you wish to extend the rental period after you have picked up the car, or return the car after the actual deadline, you must make the reservation online or contact the rental company and it will be you need to pay the price difference.
  • 8. Child seat and special accessories
  • 8.1 Child seats and ski racks (unavailable for certain vehicles), as well as additional equipment, are available on request from most companies. Please check these issues.
  • 9. Different taxes
  • 9.1 There are additional charges that may apply to your rental company for out-of-hours services or even if this is due to a flight delay. Airport delivery / return charges may also apply.

  • 10. Rentals for travel abroad

  • 11. Vehicle type
  • 11.1 The TopCarRentals platform cannot guarantee a particular make or model of car. The cars you book are from a certain class of cars and can be replaced with a similar or better model.
